Course Outline
Participants will cover:
- definitions and concepts behind LGBTIQ+ communities
- understanding the needs and wellbeing of LGBTIQ+ people
- issues that arise when these needs are not met
- examples of inclusive practice in healthcare.

Eligibility
This interactive workshop is suitable for nurses, midwives, allied health professionals, Aboriginal Health Workers, Aboriginal Health Practitioners and administrative staff working in a healthcare setting.
