Free Pen CS Licenses for Adelaide Practices

The Adelaide PHN will continue be provide fully subsidised Pen CS software licences for General Practices willing to share de-Identified data with the  Adelaide PHN on a regular basis. Click the heading link for more information.

Nursing and midwifery registration standards and guidelines have changed

Revised registration standards and standards for practice came into effect for nurses and midwives on 1 June 2016. Additional midwifery specific registration standards and guidelines took effect from 1 January 2017.

Research Grant Expressions of Interest Now Open!

ADEA Diabetes Research Foundations Research Grants Program 2017 is now open for expressions of interest. Closure is 9am (AEST) Monday 24 April 2017 and submitted online. EOIs must be made via the 2017 Research Grants Expression of Interest form. For further enquiries please contact

GP-PASA Undergoing Review in Partnership with RANZCP 

GP-PASA is a unique SA service assisting General Practitioners and patients with accessing one-off psychiatric assessments provided under MBS Item Number 291. In partnership with RANZCP, the Adelaide PHN is reviewing the GP-PASA service. For more details on the review click here. SMS CAT – Coming Soon

A new functionality has been built into the Pen CS Clinical tool, Cat4, to allow practices to recall patients via SMS utilising CAT. Pen CS are in the process of working with selected practices over the next couple of weeks to test and make final tweaks prior to offering to all practices. Upon completion, practices will be able to SMS a tailored message of their choosing via the cross-tabulation filters! Stay tuned to Primary Links for further updates.
