2 million Australians are living with pre-diabetes with no obvious signs or symptoms. Type 2 diabetes can be prevented in up to 58% of people through lifestyle changes including: a healthy diet, regular exercise, & weight loss. Despite misconceptions, evidence indicates milk, cheese, & yoghurt - including regular fat varieties - are not linked with type 2 diabetes risk or weight gain.

Click here to use the pre-diabetes management guide developed by the Foods That Do Good team & reviewed by Baker Heart & Diabetes Institute.

Zedmed software has been incorrectly transferring Menitorix (HIB/Men C) vaccine administered at 12 months of age as dose 4. The dose must be recorded as dose 1 otherwise the child will be listed as overdue for Meningococcal C vaccine. Parents receiving Family Assistance payments will be affected by this incorrect data transfer.

Please ensure Infanrix (DTPa) administered at 18 months of age is transmitted as dose 4. Providers using Zedmed software should ensure they are using version 26 (released March 2017)  to ensure  the correct dose numbers are transmitting to AIR.
